This visa is designed for non-resident individuals seeking to explore business opportunities, engage in trade or industry-related discussions, attend meetings, or conduct other permitted business functions.

Key Visa Guidelines

  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) is mandatory at the time of application.
  • Visa validity begins from the date of issue, not from the travel date.
  • An interview and additional documents may be required for long-term (1 year or more) visas.
  • Biometric data (fingerprint & facial photo) is mandatory for 5-year or long-term visas.
  • The visa is not valid for employment in India. Those working for Indian companies must apply for an Employment Visa.
  • Business Visa holders must register with FRRO/FRO if their stay exceeds 180 days in a calendar year.

Steps to Apply for an Indian Visa via DU Digital Global ICAC

  1. Create an Account.
    Register yourself on the DU Digital Global Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website.

  2. Fill Out the Government of India’s Online Visa Application Form.
    Access the Online Visa Application Portal and select the REGULAR/PAPER VISA APPLICATION option.

  3. Print and Sign Your Application.
    After filling out the form online, print it and sign where required.
  4. Book Your Appointment Online.
    Visit the DU Digital Global ICAC website to schedule your appointment and choose a convenient date and time for your visit.

  5. Prepare Your Documents.
    Ensure you have your passport, photographs, and all other supporting documents as listed in the Documents Checklist section.
  6. Visit the DU Digital Global ICAC.
    Go to the ICAC center as per the address mentioned in your appointment confirmation.
    Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.
  7. Submit Your Application and Pay the Fees.
    Submit your completed application along with the applicable fees.

  8. Enroll for Biometrics.
    If required, your biometric data will be collected at the ICAC center.
  9. Application Submission Complete!
    You’ve successfully submitted your visa application.
